Pedagogical Experience

The following lists my wide variety of experience as a graduate embedded tutor, course builder, writing consultant, and overall academic tutor in higher education through various appointments at CSU Fullerton, Claremont Graduate University, Glendale Community College, and Chaffey College.

Pedagogical Experience: Experience

I was embedded as a near-peer mentor, or PAL, for English 1A: Composition online courses, where I was mentored by Dr. Emilie Koenig for three consecutive semesters (spring 2023, summer 2023, and fall 2023). With the collaboration of a Co-PAL, myself and a colleague provided one-on-one tutoring, asynchronous support, and group workshops outside of class to support student learning. In addition to my PAL class assignments, I tutored other Chaffey students in the Success Center through in-person and virtual modalities.
